How about when Linux can run all my games and popular software, THEN having a blow-all-away window manager will actually switch to windows running programs I want….*rolls eyes*
I used linux for 3 years exclusively. Yes a cute window manager (this is just a bloated one) is fun, and usable. But really, how does IT blow an entire OS away?
I agree with Sandili people who think that linux is “Blows Windows Away” are straight up wrong, in order for them or ANYONE to blow windows away they’d have to come up with a directX emulator.. and OpenGL in no way is a directX emulation. now mind you if games started to acctually support OpenGL again that might even fix the issue. but they dont and they wont because its OBSOLETE AND YEARS BEHIND. Wiggle your windows and drag them around all you want.. The future still looks like windows, since wine blows ass.
Not only this but there are desktop managers for windows as well, more development software avalible for windows. Sure Linux is free but the words ‘Dosen’t Support’ comes up alot :p
From personal experiance.. I duel boot, hell I dont even run virus/spyware on this sytem simply because I dule boot.. If I get a virus, I swich OS to scan, fix the problem and swich back. No Problemo, that is in the RARE situation I come accross something that can acctually comprimise my operating system, which dosent happen very often because I KNOW HOW TO USE A FREAKIN SYSTEM PROPERLY.
