Do you think to use Ad-Aware or Spybot is enough?
There are many softwares to detect and remove Malwares, Spywares and Adwares from your computer. The most used are Spybot and Ad-aware. But would not be better fix the holes before these things come inside your computer?
Fix the holes is the objective of Secunia Personal Software Inspector. It’s idea is to sweep not only your operating system, but all software installed that have known vulnerabilities issues. Bellow are the results of the sweep of my laptop.
How you can see, there are several problems in softwares that common user, like me, don’t pay attention like 7-zip or VLC. No one care about them. More than point problems, the software provides links for donwload fixed versions of them.
